We chose the more sensible option of flying to the Alps this time rather than the 20+ hour bus journey we endured late last year. Many people told us we'd enjoy Chamonix and they weren't wrong!

Although it was a little further to travel to the slopes than Tignes, the resort was much bigger and had a fabulous atmosphere to it.

It was sunny and gorgeous the whole weekend which meant we could happily spend the days on the slopes then enjoy the evening in a beer garden or two.

Julian spent the days traversing pistes with Kate and Mike, whilst Danielle & Amanda spent time on the green runs gaining confidence and skill. Danielle's most notable achievement was a number of successful exits from the chairlifts-no small feat on a snowboard that's for sure!
